The double release features a new Japanese single album entitled Galaxy Supernova and also theirJapanese Tour Girls&Peace DVD/Blu-ray, all of which would come in various versions and contents. (Both the album and the DVD are separate products)

Hyomin follows Sunny on instagram, and yes this is relevant because SuByung is always relevant.

I know a lot of SuByung shippers out there were really excited to see 1+1 couple interact over the webs when Sunny got herself a twitter and instagram account, as it’s been far too long since we’ve seen them together. This might be a pretty minor event BUT MY SUBYUNG HEART NEEDS TO SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS.

T-ara’s Hyomin recently used her instagram account, hyominnn to follow svnnynight (Sunny), yulyulk (Yuri) andtaeyeon_ss (Taeyeon). While it’s super cute to see idols follow each other on SNS, SuByung following each other on SNS is even cuter! Let’s hope the girls follow back (and we can get some T-generation up in this joint) and we get to see some cute interactions.

Daniel Henney picks SNSD as his favourite girl-group & Jessica as his favourite member

During a press conference for his new movie, “The Spy“, man-among-men Daniel Henney chose Girls’ Generation as a girl group that he liked. He went on to say that out of the Girls’ Generation members, he liked Jessica the most, his exact words being “Out of the Girls’ Generation members, I like Jessica. She’s very cute. I’ve met her a few times at events as well.“

When the reporter mentioned that at the end of last year, Jessica chose Daniel Henney as her ideal guy, he replied that he knew and was thankful.

BTS video of Taeyeon & Seohyun dubbing “Despicable Me 2″

The leader-maknae duo Taeyeon & Seohyun have both reprised their roles as Margot and Edith, respectively, in the to-be-released Korean version of Despicable Me 2 (the Korean title is Superbad 2). A short video was recently released of the two members doing the voice-acting for the animated characters and asking fans to look forward to the film.

Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Yuri and Yoona say happy anniversary to the fans

Alongside Tiffany’s (attempted) midnight anniversary message, other members have also thought to drop us sweet and simple messages to celebrate 6 years of both SoShi and SONE.

Jessica left a pre-mature message on August 4th, instead of August 5th, on her Weibo account;

While Yuri uploaded a photo familiar to all SONEs onto her instagram account;

She included the caption; “thank you sone, happy 6th birthday #100BlowFish #ImSayingIMissYou“. (‘Blowfish’ and ‘Miss you’ in Korean sound similar. She later commented to imagine what it would be like with 100 blowfish.)

Meanwhile, Yoona hit up the official Girls’ Generation smtown website and uploaded a SelCa with a sweet message to the fans;

And just as August 5th drew to an end, Taeyeon also used her instagram to show off some cute scribbles (that weirdo) to express her gratitude to the fans.

While the caption for her second upload was “Kkil kkil kkil (a very weird laugh)”.

While Sunny, also just making it before August 5th ended, sent out a heartfelt tweet using her twitter account.

Tiffany leaves a message for fans; “Let’s go on for a lifetime” #우리평생가쟈

Despite internet hardships, Tiffany did her best to greet the fans just as August 5th rolled about, posting a handwritten message on the official site.

Instead of writing the phrase, “우리오래가자 (let’s go on for a long time)” she instead one-upped us with “우리평생가쟈 ♥ (let’s go on for a lifetime ♥). Awwww, best idol ever! Underneath she also wrote “Happy 6th SoShi + SONE~ LOVE YOU xo”.

I Got A Boy MV Breaks Records!

The music video for ‘I Got A Boy’ has broken the record for the K-Pop video to hit 10 million views on YouTube the fastest, reaching the mark in only 55 hours since release!

Previously, the record was held by Hyuna’s ‘Ice Cream’ music video, which hit 10 million views in 87 hours, followed by SNSD’s own ‘The Boys’ at 110 hours.

It’s been 14 months since their last comeback, and ‘I Got A Boy’ was hotly anticipated, hitting that 10 million milestone in half the time it took for ‘The Boys’. ‘I Got A Boy’ is generating plenty of buzz for its wild, colorful style, choreography by the Emmy-winning duo Nappytabs, and roller coaster ride of a song.

SNSD has broken another record in K-Pop, reaching 20 million views on YouTube for the music video of ‘I Got A Boy‘ in 125 hours, just over five days. This milestone was hit in half the time as the previous record holder,Hyuna’s ‘Ice Cream‘, which reached the mark in ten days.
